Eye Health America (EHA), a leading integrated eye care platform in the Southeastern United States, is excited to announce its acquisition of Quigley Eye Specialists (QES), a perfect complement to Eye Centers of Florida, which EHA acquired in 2021. This partnership marks EHA’s 29th partnership, strengthening its presence in Southwest Florida.
Founded in 1988 by Dr. Thomas Quigley, Quigley Eye Specialists expanded in the Fort Myers-Naples region and North when it partnered with Community Eye Center and St. Lucy’s Eye Surgery Center in the Port Charlotte area in 2021. QES has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional, patient-focused eye care. With a dedicated team of skilled doctors, the practice is committed to providing innovative and personalized treatments. This multispecialty ophthalmology practice offers a broad range of services, including refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma, SMILE/LASIK, eyelid surgery, retinal care, corneal conditions, dry eye treatments, and routine eye care. For over 30 years, Quigley Eye Specialists has proudly served the Southwest Florida community, with ten convenient clinic locations in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Naples, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda and two Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Fort Myers and Port Charlotte.
“We are thrilled to unite two legacy practices, Eye Centers of Florida and Quigley Eye Specialists, under the Eye Health America umbrella. This partnership will allow us to continue building upon the strong foundation of care that Dr. Quigley and his team have established,” said John Swencki, Co-CEO of Eye Health America.
The entire team at Quigley Eye Specialists is excited to join Eye Centers of Florida where their collective focus on quality and innovation will expand the covered lives and sustain their reputation as a trusted eye care leader throughout the region. “What an exciting new chapter for our practice. We are confident that Eye Health America’s resources and support will help us continue to provide the best possible care to our patients,” said Dr. Emmanual Kai-Lewis. “We look forward to joining forces with Eye Health America and expanding our ability to deliver specialized, compassionate care to the communities we serve,” added Nika Priest-Allen MD.
This acquisition is part of Eye Health America’s ongoing strategy to expand its network of premier eye care providers across the Southeastern United States. “We look forward to expanding access to the exceptional care patients in Southwest Florida have come to expect, while driving innovations to further elevate the patient experience,” added Mary Lou Parisi, Co-CEO of Eye Health America. With this new partnership, EHA continues to build upon its mission of “making lives better with personalized eyecare.” For more information about QES, call 239-466-2020 or visit QuigleyEye.com.
